"The first thing I noticed when I took off on a wave was how much drive the glass-in fins created and how it gave the board a really solid feel. The outline of the board was another thing that really got my attention, everything seemed in proportion and there was really nothing suss about it. It didn’t have a huge amount of nose rocker in it, which made it feel like the pocket wasn’t the most appropriate place for this board to be, but once you got it onto the open face it seemed to perform a lot better."
