Say Hello to Alison Carroll (aka Lara Croft)

If Alison Carroll isn’t your dream girl then she should be. The 23 year-old pom and former golf-club receptionist was recently chosen as the new face of Tomb Raider: Underworld (better know as Lara Croft to video game dorks) and more recently has taken up riding a sled.
“She was actually pretty good at surfing,” said Waves photographer Nathan Smith, who shot Alison (or Lara) recently while she was on a promotional tour in Oz. “I think she’d only surfed once before but she got out there, went going across and caught waves all the way to shore.“ Cool, anything else from the shoot that was memorable Smithy? Catch a glimpse of undraped cans? Eavesdrop on crazy geezer sex talk? “Nah not at all. Half of the clubbies that were in North Steyne surf club (location of shoot) were pretty spellbound though.” Yeah, anything else? “Yeah, she was definitely the easiest and coolest girl I’ve ever shot. It was cold outside but she did her job and didn’t complain. I was happy to shoot her.”
Well, a happy photographer means a happy Waves team and a happy outgoing model means happy readers. Everybody wins.
